Alaskans come together to support Sen. Murkowski’s write-in campaign

With a united voice to rally for Alaska’s future prosperity and reject the influence of outsiders touting an extremist agenda, several groups and individual Alaskans are coming together in support of Sen. Lisa Murkowski.

Alaskans Standing Together was started with the collective support of Alaska Native regional corporations. These corporations represent more than 100,000 Native Alaskan shareholders and descendants. The group seeks to raise money and support, educate Alaskans about the important issues facing Alaska, and encourage Murkowski supporters to learn the few simple rules about writing in a candidate’s name on a ballot. His record speaks for itself: Joe Miller does not practice what he preaches. From accepting federal farm subsidies while calling for an end to the "welfare state" to violating nepotism rules while serving as a federal magistrate, Miller hasn’t been straightforward about anything. Heck, even his voter registration has flipped more times than Ben Affleck’s movies have flopped. (more)

Stand with us. Vote!

To create political and social change, citizens must vote for the candidates they feel will best represent their interests – it’s as simple as that. If carving out time to stand in line on Election Day seems daunting, fear not. You can vote by mail, by fax, or in-person beginning Oct.18. You can vote in person at any Regional Elections Office or absentee voting location 15 days prior to an election and continuing through Election Day.

By Mail

Absentee by mail is the easiest way to cast your vote in Alaska. Use the Online Absentee Ballot Application located at the Division of Election online tools Web page to complete an application.

By Fax

To request a by-fax ballot, you need to complete an Absentee By-Fax Ballot Application and submit it to the Absentee and Petition Office. Applications will be available on the Division of Elections website starting Oct. 18.

In Person
